Description

Loki's ideal home

Loki is on the search for his forever home with adopters who can shower him with love and attention. He is looking to be the only dog in the home as he has shown to resource guard from other resident dogs. He could live with small furries and bird if kept separated and would like to have walking friends. Loki can live with older primary school aged children who have experience with big bouncy dogs and who can be mindful to give him space when he has food. If Loki goes to a home with a garden it must be a private and secure garden- although he could go to a home with no garden. Loki can find being left worrying and therefore would like minimal leaving hours whilst settling into his forever home. Loki is currently on our home stay scheme- this means the dog is currently not in our centre. Loki is with their current family until the point of their adoption.

Could you be Loki's perfect match?

Lovely Loki is an active boy who is always ready for playtime. Just like his namesake he loves causing mischief and has a super cheeky personality. Loki likes chicken flavoured treats but won’t always take them when out on his adventures. He knows a few tricks including sit and paw and would love to learn more in his forever home. Loki does enjoy some toys and rope and chew toys seem to be his favourite. He is a wonderful boy who is sure to bring lots of love to his forever home.

Malamute Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Alaskan Malamute.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
